Have you ever been on an active volcano? How about a glacier? Or sat next to a wild brown bear as it gains weight for winter? Now, how about all three in the same day?
Let us take care of everything on this adventure. Clothing, lunch, snacks, and some of the most desirable places to visit in Alaska. Together, we explore areas of South Central Alaska that most people daydream about as they look out over the vastness of Alaska’s oceans and mountains.
The helicopter does most of the work, effortlessly landing on glaciers, volcanic pinnacles, and in some of the world’s richest brown bear habitats.
We know it can be difficult to prepare for every eventuality on your Alaska vacation, so we want to take some of the worry out of this special day.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Activity Level
EASY
Mostly level footing. Some gravel, mud, wet grass, some snow.
Trip Outline
We depart from Homer in the morning and land at three locations that offer an incredible day of exploration. Most of these places are accessible only by helicopter, so there will likely be no one around except you and your pilot-guide.
Duration
The total trip length is about eight hours, with an average of two hours on the ground at each location. Ground time may be shorter or longer depending on group dynamics and weather. Weather is always a factor in any Alaska adventure, so we reserve the option to modify the safari’s landing locations.
Your Guides
Our guides have extensive knowledge to share, helping create a safe and memorable experience with the bears. By the end of our time together, you will be wanting more. The return flight takes about the same amount of time, and before you know it, we will be hovering in for a landing with a memory card full of photos.
