What to expect

We know it can be difficult to prepare for every eventuality on your Alaska vacation so we want to take some of the worry out of this special day.

Life at the Glamping domes can be anything you want it to be. There are families that have a great time experiencing a remote existence by listening and absorbing the sights and sounds of a place without the hustle and bustle of life in the city or “civilization”. A remote sauna is available, just a board walk away that provides even more remoteness.
On the flip side we’ve had individuals, couples, families that want high energy burning opportunities everyday.
Each desire can be accommodated but still providing separation between personalities.
Duration
Total trip length is 3 to 6 nights. Helicopter/airplane transportation, gourmet meals, rain jackets, hip boots are provided, guide. Daily adventures are provided for each full day at the lodge.
Your Guides
The number one GOAL of our guides including all of our staff is your Safety. They are experienced with Alaska and we want to be sure you are having the time of your life. The secondary goal of our guides is to be sure you are entertained. The adventure speaks for itself but we know with the right guidance your trip can go from incredible to unforgettable. Our guides have multiple talents from cooking, to story telling and even first aid.
Anyone can visit Alaska, but with our guidance and knowledge we can unlock secrets you would have never known existed.

Trip Outline
From deluxe king size beds with plush duvet covers, hot and cold runner water with a in suite shower and sink. Beautiful area rugs providing a soft and cozy atmosphere for relaxing by the ensuite gas fireplace. All this under a Geodesic dome built on top of a bluff which provides exquisite views that overlooking brown bear habitat. The camp is lined with board walks for easy walking from each accommodation to the main lodge and from the helicopter landing zone. Each full day is filled with adventures that are easily accessible by helicopter, boat or float plane. The options are unlimited.
Sustenance
Each meal is hand made for you. Before you begin your adventure with us we gather your dietary requirements so that your meals are delicious, exciting and something that you won’t forget. Three meals are provided per full day at the lodge which includes a hearty Alaskan breakfast providing the energy need for the days adventures. Lunch – either on the adventure or at the lodge depending on the plan for the day. Dinner – is served at the lodge.
Daily Adventures
The best thing about this camp is that your staying in the most adventurous place even if you don’t leave the domes. Most of the adventures are included in the price. Anything from bear viewing to a day of fishing. How about flying to a remote glacier lake for some easy kayaking. Maybe you would like unlimited hiking adventures around camp or just a quick helicopter flight over the ridge line to one of a kind hike. If you want bears then this place is for you. Being located the heart of some of the highest concentrations of brown bears in the world, these beautiful creatures are alway around the corner.
Our adventures are discussed the night before and confirmed the day of. Weather is always a factor no matter where you travel in Alaska. If weather prevents us from a distant destination then there are plenty of exciting places that we can use as an alternative. Remember you are at your destination – Alaska….Enjoy the little things that are actually big things compared to the rest of the world.
We depart Homer, Alaska for the camp on the first day anywhere between 12pm and 8pm. Be sure you have lunch before you meet us. Weather plays a huge part of this scenario. The same reasons affect your arrival back to Homer. Adventures on the day of arrival and departure are limited to areas around camp and may not depend on air transportation.
